Tour Guide at Florida Southern College
Class of 2019
Hometown: williamstown, NJ
Outside of giving campus tours as a Southern Ambassador, I am involved in the Nursing Student Association, along with the campus Dance Association; I’m a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the nursing honor society; I’m a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority where I have held two executive board positions, including my current position as the Chapter President; I am a member of Omicron Delta Kappa; I also have an on-campus position working at Roux Library! I’ve also had the opportunity to perform, and serve as the assistant stage manager, in some of the FSC dance productions.
Go to Disney World! Many of my friends, along with myself, have annual passes, so we love to go if we have some free time after classes one day!
My favorite spot in Lakeland is located on 801 E Main Street, also known as the Poor Porker! The Poor Porker serves beignets, coffee, and often has live music on the weekends. The atmosphere there is truly unique, and I love going there on a weekend afternoon to catch up on homework and studying!
Since it’s too hard for me to pick just one, I'll name a few! The Discover Florida trips through FSC have led to some of my favorite college memories. On one trip, I had the opportunity to go snorkeling and see dolphins, and another trip was to Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights! I had a lot of fun on both of these trips with some of my best friends!
