What is your favorite spot/thing to do in Lakeland?

Gelati Joe's! I love their Italian ice and gelato! Besides that, I really enjoy Black and Brew (sandwiches & coffee) and Palace Pizza. Other than food, I like the holiday events that Lakeland has at the end of the year, like the Haus 820 Holiday market. SIlvermoon Drive-in is also really cool because you can see a double feature of two current movies for only $5!

What has been your favorite class?

My favorite class has been "Intercultural Communication" with Dr. Keys. I love her teaching and discussion style. We voice our experience freely and this allowed us to better understand others. I plan on taking another class with Dr. Key's before I graduate.

Why Florida Southern?

As a transfer from larger university, I am so thankful for the close-knit atmosphere FSC provides. Thanks to my dad's recommendation to consider this wonderfully tight-knit community, I have loved every minute as a student here. I love the class size and the fact that I am a name and not a number. I have traveled to four different countries, had leadership opportunities, and interned at a place I truly enjoy. But most importantly, Florida Southern has allowed me to meet the best people that I know I will know long after graduation.
