Why Florida Southern?

I chose Florida Southern because it was a smaller sized school that still offers rewarding extracurricular and academic opportunities. I instantly knew that I could fit in and thrive at FSC after my first tour here. Going to FSC has enabled to me to have a college experience tailormade to my academic and social interests that I would not be able to have elsewhere.

What is your favorite FSC memory?

During the second semester of my freshman year, I took the "Corrections and Rehabilitation" class which provided the chance to tour a local jail and a prison. It was an eye-opening experience for my classmates and me. We spent about two hours at each location and it was an engaging opportunity that went beyond just learning material in class. It was a very fascinating experience and I definitely learned a lot about our justice system.

What has been your favorite class?

My favorite class has been Acting I. My professor and classmates welcomed me with open arms as a newcomer to the theatre program. I have learned a lot about the acting profession ,and I am continually challenged to learn new techniques and really work on my craft. We are very supportive of each other and it has been a fun environment to create and act in.

Involvement (clubs/organizations):

I’m the Vice President for FSC Catholic Campus Ministry and the Treasurer of the Criminology Club. I am a member of the Phi Eta Sigma and Sigma Alpha Phi. I also serve on the Southern Cinema Committee for the Association of Campus Entertainment.
