Why Florida Southern?

I chose Florida Southern because it is 10 minutes from my house, which allows me to spend time with my little sister and be an active part of her life as she grows up. I looked at a lot of schools that are close to home, but FSC was the most welcoming.

What is your favorite spot/thing to do in Lakeland?

My favorite thing to do here in my hometown is to go to Lakeside Village, a nice outdoor mall, and have lunch and shop with my friends. I also enjoy the escape rooms and locally owned coffee shops.

Spend time with my family and my fiancé. Since he is also attending FSC and lives in Lakeland, we go on lots of dates at the many restaurants and shopping centers in Lakeland and spend time with our friends.

What is your favorite FSC memory?

My favorite FSC memory is my experience at scholar's weekend. I loved getting to stay on campus and meet my professors before starting so I could really get an idea of whether the school was for me or not. I had so much fun meeting new people, and it was the beginning of a new chapter in my life.
