Why Florida Southern?

I was immediately drawn into the small family aspect of Florida Southern. I strongly recall coming to my scholars weekend and being able to speak with possible search opportunities with professors and them continuing to reach out to me after leaving my scholars weekend. I quickly realized that you don’t get that care and attention from professors at just any state university. I found home in Florida Southern.

In my spare time I like to work out with my friends and motivate each other as well as do things that mentally bring me back to a calm manner like embroidery or sitting outside and enjoying the fresh air.

What is your favorite FSC memory?

My favorite FSC memory would have to be on Halloween having the Christmas tree up on the green and seeing it make so many people happier and in better spirits nearing the end of the semester. It brought a lot of people out of their dorms and allowed for socially distanced outdoor interaction.
