I really enjoyed going to scholar's weekend. It helped me decide that FSC is where I was supposed to go. I also love climbing the rock wall at Rec Fest!
While it was my most difficult class at the time, my favorite class was Teaching Math. I learned numerous ways to help students of all abilities understand math concepts. I did not like math as an elementary student, but after this class, I have a new found appreciation for it. I now hope to teach my future students through the various methods I learned, and maybe I can make math a favorite subject for my future students, rather than a least favorite subject like math was for me originally.
I'm involved in Greek Life, Campus Ministries, Student Accountability Board, and Kappa Delta Pi (the education honor society).
I am not just a number. I knew I wanted that smaller, community-type school where my teachers know my name and want to help me succeed. That is exactly what I found at FSC.
