I like to run, play volleyball, shop, eat and find cool fun spots to go to in Lakeland with my friends.

Why Florida Southern?

I chose Southern because it felt like home. From my first tour, I knew that this was where I belonged. Everyone was so welcoming and sweet compared to other schools I visited. What also really grabbed my attention was that you aren’t just a number. The professors care about you and your successes.

What is your favorite spot/thing to do in Lakeland?

My favorite thing to do in Lakeland would be grabbing a bite at Born & Bread on Saturday mornings, followed by going to the farmers market. This is a great way to start your weekend with some good food, coffee, friends, and laughs. Coming from a big city, you don’t really see these things very often.
