My favorite class was my Business and Society course! It was a great intro course to get an overview of the business school. Three professors rotated teaching us different material from different perspectives. I gained a better idea of which concentration I wanted to choose in the business school. There was even a fun class version of Shark Tank for our final project!
Growing up I visited Florida Southern many times with my dad. He always talked about his experience going to Florida Southern, and how it was the best four years of his life. It wasn’t until I was deep in the college search that I realized it was for me too. Coming from Pennsylvania, I knew I wanted to be somewhere warm. Florida Southern isn’t only a beautiful campus in the Sunshine State, but it is also a small school that provides tons of opportunities to get involved! I love the class engagement, the welcoming community, and the feeling that I have a home away from home!
I am in the business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi, as well as Kappa Delta sorority! I have been on the brotherhood bonding committee, the initiation committee, and I am now the Fundraising Chair on the exec board for Delta Sigma Pi! In Kappa Delta, I am Assistant PR, as well as a Party Head, and I love to compete in Intramurals. I am on the Dean’s Advisory Council for the business school, and I hold the position of Secretary. I am an Orientation Leader, and I am also a member of the Phi Eta Sigma honor society!
My favorite thing to do in Lakeland is go to Born and Bread on Saturday mornings with my friends! The bread and cold brew is amazing, and we normally follow it up by walking around the market in downtown Lakeland!
