I love to hangout with my friends, stay active, and explore Lakeland! There are so many cute places to explore around town. The weather is so great that there are always opportunities to stay active. Lake Hollingsworth is so fun to walk around with friends, or to bike around on a Saturday afternoon!

Why Florida Southern?

Growing up I visited Florida Southern many times with my dad. He always talked about his experience going to Florida Southern, and how it was the best four years of his life. It wasn’t until I was deep in the college search that I realized it was for me too. Coming from Pennsylvania, I knew I wanted to be somewhere warm. Florida Southern isn’t only a beautiful campus in the Sunshine State, but it is also a small school that provides tons of opportunities to get involved! I love the class engagement, the welcoming community, and the feeling that I have a home away from home!

What is your favorite FSC memory?

My favorite memory at FSC is a night that my sorority hosted an event during our philanthropy week! Different organizations choreographed dances, and competed in a friendly competition! It was so fun, a beautiful night, and a great way to hangout with so many people!

What is your favorite spot/thing to do in Lakeland?

My favorite thing to do in Lakeland is go to Born and Bread on Saturday mornings with my friends! The bread and cold brew is amazing, and we normally follow it up by walking around the market in downtown Lakeland!
