My favorite place to go is Born and Bread on Saturday mornings with some of my friends! The bakery is open each Saturday with a unique menu full of delicious goodies, and it’s a super fun Saturday activity. After that, we go to Concord Coffee, which is my favorite coffee shop in Lakeland and a great study spot!
During my sophomore year, I got to play the role of Colin Craven in The Secret Garden at FSC. It was my first time playing a supporting lead in college, and my classmates and I had an amazing opportunity getting to work with our teachers as directors and designers and fellow cast and crew. The character was fun and really challenging, and I applied what I learned in classes to my acting! I had such a great time with the whole experience, and that moment has shaped every show I’ve been in since then!
I fell in love with Florida Southern when I visited my senior year of high school during Scholars Weekend. The professors truly care about their students, and I immediately felt at home in the community. It’s so easy to get involved on campus, and I have so many friends here all over campus. I know by the time I graduate I’ll be prepared for my career, and I’ve made memories and friends here that will last a lifetime. Though I’m a senior this year, FSC makes it hard to want to leave!
I’m the Vice President of Communications for Southern Ambassadors, I’ve served in various positions on the Interlaken (yearbook) staff, I’m the Historian for the Vagabonds, I’m a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority and have served in multiple positions, including on the executive board, and I’m a member of Phi Eta Sigma, Omicron Delta Kappa, Alpha Psi Omega, and Lambda Pi Eta honor societies. Aside from that, I’ve been involved in numerous theatrical productions since coming to FSC, both performing on stage and working in technical positions.
