Go to Disney World! A lot of my friends are annual passholders, so we go as often as our class and club schedules allow. It’s a great way to relax after a long week!

What has been your favorite class?

One of my favorite classes was "Communication Law and Ethics." I’d always been fascinated by legal studies, and learning about it was even more interesting than I thought! The class was incredibly engaging and my favorite part was getting to act as lawyer and present “Mock Trials.” I loved how it was tailored to my communications major. It was such a useful class that taught me skills I know I will use in my career!

What is your favorite spot/thing to do in Lakeland?

My favorite place to go is Born and Bread on Saturday mornings with some of my friends! The bakery is open each Saturday with a unique menu full of delicious goodies, and it’s a super fun Saturday activity. After that, we go to Concord Coffee, which is my favorite coffee shop in Lakeland and a great study spot!

Involvement (clubs/organizations):

I’m the Vice President of Communications for Southern Ambassadors, I’ve served in various positions on the Interlaken (yearbook) staff, I’m the Historian for the Vagabonds, I’m a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority and have served in multiple positions, including on the executive board, and I’m a member of Phi Eta Sigma, Omicron Delta Kappa, Alpha Psi Omega, and Lambda Pi Eta honor societies. Aside from that, I’ve been involved in numerous theatrical productions since coming to FSC, both performing on stage and working in technical positions.
