Alumnus at Florida Southern College
Class of 2020
Current: Coventry, RI
Hometown: Coventry, RI
Major: Biology
Minor: Psychology & Chemistry
I chose Florida Southern because of how much of a community this school really is. Everyone is so friendly and willing to help people out; it has a welcoming kindness that never goes away. It is the perfect balance between academics and fun. I found my home away from home at FSC; it is the place I'm always excited to come back to.
My favorite class would have to be "Ecology and Evolution" because it focuses on what I like most about biology. In addition, my positive psychology class was incredibly interesting and life changing because it provided a whole new outlook on life and how to improve your own happiness.
Here at FSC I am a Southern Ambassador, Scholars Weekend Leader, and the Director of the Mocs NIght Out Committee for the Association of Campus Entertainment. I am also involved in Tri-Beta which is the Biological Honors Society.
My favorite spot would have to be any coffee shop. I love going to a different coffee shop each weekend with friends to hang out and do homework together. Born & Bread is also a great place to go on Saturday mornings to get some delicious homemade baked goods.
