I am a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED) the Pre-Health Honor Society and Phi Eta Sigma the Academic Honor Society. I am also the Vice President of Rotaract, a service organization sponsored by Rotary International. Aside from working with Southern Ambassadors, I work for the Biology department as a Lab Teaching Assistant.
I always knew that I needed a small school, with a tight-knit community. After learning about the robust biology department here, I knew that FSC was the perfect fit for me. After attending Scholars Weekend, I was convinced that this is where I needed to be. Everyone I met during the weekend was extremely helpful and informative, plus, the atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for. Furthermore, during Scholars Weekend, I met staff members who just showed how much they cared about the students, and how much they want us all to succeed.
Simply hang out with friends! After a long week of classes, I always find it nice to relax and enjoy the fun stuff to do around campus or in Lakeland.
I always love to go to the Lakeside Villages. Between Coldstone Ice Cream and the movie theater, we always have something to do. It is a great place to hang out with friends and relax on the weekends, plus, it’s not too far from campus!
