Why Florida Southern?

I chose Florida Southern because of its dedication to providing quality college education to its students. I also love the beautiful campus, small class sizes, and the friendly professors who truly care about their students' academic success. After attending Scholars Weekend, and completing my first semester here at Florida Southern, I knew it was the college for me!

What is your favorite spot/thing to do in Lakeland?

Anybody who knows me, knows that I have a big caffeine and açaí bowl addiction. That's why Tea Largo is my favorite spot in Lakeland! It's a cute little coffee and tea shop less than 10 minutes away from campus, and I love to pick up both an iced cold brew and açaí bowl to treat myself at the end of a busy week.

Involvement (clubs/organizations):

Along with being a Southern Ambassador, I am a member of Tribeta, the Biological Honor Society on campus, Alpha Epsilon Delta, the Pre-Health Honor Society, Psychology Club, Women's Advocacy Club, and Veg Club at Florida Southern College.

What is your favorite FSC memory?

My favorite FSC memory so far would have to be Winter Wonderland on Mr. George's Green where I was able to slide down a huge snow slide! I absolutely love the holiday season, and the Christmas cookies, hot cocoa, and giant Christmas tree really set the mood for me to enjoy it.
